Yesterday I got offered a new position with Teleflora. I have been in the customer service department where I talked to florist who called in. But last week I applied for a new position that they are just starting. It is called a Regional Support Rep. Basically, I will now be over my own region of florist, so when they need something special handled, I will be the one they talked to. I was given the NE U.S. which they thought I would be perfect for since I lived in NYC for 2 years. I am just glad I don't have Florida or California, because the florist there can get a little moody. At first, I wasn't going to apply for this new position, but I changed my mind at the last minute. About an hour after I turned in the interoffice application, they had called me into the meeting room for an interview. The director of the department wanted the supervisors of customer service to start interviews immediately. So, of course I was the first one, without any warning. Needless to say I was not very prepared. I was pretty nervous, but since I know the supervisors pretty well, I was able to calm down and be myself. I walked out of there after an hour of answering questions feeling really good about it, because I had made them laugh and answered every question they threw at me efficiently and effectively. I start on Monday, and I am a little nervous. This job will have a lot more responsibility, but it is full time and more money than I am making now. The only downfall is that I have to give up one of my dance class. But I think this job it will be worth it. God has been so good to us the past couple of months, with Pete's new job, and now my new job. God does work in his own way, and I am still learning to give up that control to let him do his thing. But when I do, he truly shows me that things will turn out for the best the way he planned them to be.

Corynn's first day of dance!
I am a little late posting this, sorry for that. Last saturday was
Corynn's first real dance class. She has been up there with me
plenty of times, but now she is actually a student. She is in the
toddler combo class, she does ballet for 30 minutes & tap for 30
minutes. Her teacher Miss Kenzie is a great teacher, & says she is
already a star! Of course I think that, & that is not because I am
her mom. ;) I can't wait for everyone to come to her recital. That is not until May 16th, so mark it on your calendars.

They grow up so fast!!

I can't believe how fast she has grown. I always heard people say they felt like it was just yesterday that their children were born, and I would always think, "yeah right, you are just being over dramatic." But, now that I am witnessing that first hand, I now know what every parent is talking about. I wouldn't go as far to say that is was just yesterday, but it doesn't feel like she is three years old. She definitely shouldn't look like a little girl more than a toddler. But I know that is how it is, they are born, they grow up, and then they become independent and move out on their own. It is kinda bittersweet. I wish she didn't have to grow up and become independent, but it is inevitable. But thankfully we have a long time before she grows up and leaves the nest. I know we will enjoy it every step of the way, just like I have enjoyed everything up until this point.

Bugs
We found this crazy looking beetle on our front porch. It is called a
zebra longhorn flower beetle. I had thought that we had found some
exotic bug in Oklahoma, but it turns out you see them sometimes if you
live in the country.

Monkeys
This is one of our favorite videos of Corynn. She is singing "5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed"
Hello!
So, I decided to start this blog, because I have seen alot of my friend's blogs and thought what a good idea to keep everyone up to date with pictures and our funny stories. I hope you enjoy reading what I have to tell you. Please feel free to look around. There is not much on here, since I just started this. But I promise I will try my hardest to post something every couple of days. Enjoy!!
